Oberlin Basketball Family,
We are happy to announce our incoming freshman class of Trey Levy, Geoff Simpson, Derrick Sant, Kyle Oblinger and Emmanuel Lewis. We feel like we addressed several of our needs with this group and are excited to add them to the roster.
Trey is a strong inside guy that will bring toughness, rebounding and a strong interior presence to the paint.
Geoff is the all-around swing man that brings a diverse set of offensive skills and good length and athleticism on defense.
Derrick is a very good shooter that has the basketball IQ and length for his position to maximize his potential on both ends of the court.
Kyle is an energetic shooter that has a quick release and has the lateral quickness to help us contain the ball on defense.
Emmanuel is a quick point guard that really get to the rim, hit the perimeter shot and stir things up with pressure defense.
All in all, we are very happy to have landed this talented group and look forward to seeing them develop throughout the year and over their four years. With our returning players working hard this summer, I am confident that we will have a fun and exciting year.
